Diving fatality in Singapore
The Commercial Diving Association (Singapore ) has been notified on a workplace incident where a commercial diver had passed away on February 17, 2024.
The facts to the case have yet to be established and the relevant Authorities are currently conducting investigations. The Company involved is not a member of the Association.
The Association urges all members of the industry and members of the public to allow for investigations to run their course and avoid speculating on the case. The facts of the case, once determined, will be shared in due course.
All Industry members are again reminded to adhere to local safety regulations and guidelines when carrying out all diving works.
